We are a non profit (501(c3)) AI Community based in NYC. Our mission is to democratize access to AI knowledge while promoting AI solutions for social challenges. We aim to create an inclusive space of communication for people from industry, academia and beyond.

The Young VDW (Vereinigung Deutscher Wissenschaftler)
With the Young VDW, the Federation of German Scientists (VDW) now has a suborganization cut out for young scientists. Young VDW is a young, interdisciplinary, and independent think tank oriented towards the aims of the VDW such as the responsibility of science. National and international students, university graduates, doctoral candidates, and post-doctoral researchers are equally involved in this innovative and forward-looking think tank. The aim is to bring young researchers from different scientific disciplines into an active and constructive discourse with each other, to strengthen them in their competencies, and thus to improve their future prospects.
AI Tinkerers
AI Tinkerers (https://aitinkerers.org) is a meetup designed exclusively for practitioners who possess technical, machine learning, and entrepreneurial backgrounds and are actively building and working with foundation models, such as large language models (LLMs) and generative AI. If you’re deeply passionate about creating LLM-enabled applications, have hands-on experience in building such systems, and are eager to connect with like-minded individuals who share your level of commitment, then this group is the perfect fit for you. With AI Tinkerers meetups taking place in multiple cities, we cater to a dedicated community of practitioners.
